Why don't more filmmakers use crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo?

Crowdfunding platforms are fantastic because they allow you direct contact with potential investors.

But most filmmakers don't think they're qualified to ask for money. They feel they must have someone to speak for them.

Because they are still in their infancy, they do not believe that anyone should invest.

Instead, they spend months focusing on their project and hoping that someone will notice.

They realized that they hadn't prepared properly when they launched their campaign.

Instead of receiving thousands of dollars, they receive a few donations.

It is called Hollywood.

D.W. Griffith created the first movie industry in California in 1887. It was named after its location in Los Angeles, which at the time was known as "Hollywood."

Because it was an exciting area to visit, the name stuck. It attracted people from all over the world to check out what was happening.

Today, Hollywood is still very much part of our culture. There are movies, TV shows, music videos and commercials. And we call them all "Hollywood."

How much does Hollywood make in a year?

Production costs on average for a movie are around $100 million. For a decade, ten movies would be enough to produce enough money for a country.

A private island with an airport and power plant, as well as a bank, post office and police station, would be yours.

If you don't find this to be fun, then you are probably insane.

What percentage of box office profits goes to marketing?

Marketing budgets often account for 20%-40% of the film's budget. This is because marketing is critical to the success and longevity of any film.

Without effective marketing, no one will be able to find out about your film. If people don't know anything about your film they won't pay to see it.
