FAQ

How many movies does Hollywood make a year?

Each year, Hollywood studios produce approximately 3,000 films. Yes, that's correct, three thousand!

Hollywood spends billions advertising these films. They spend millions on their production. They also spend millions marketing them. However, how many actually make it to the theaters?

It's probably between 200-300. What happens then to the 2,700+ remaining films? Most of them are either released direct-to-video or just sit in storage.

However, not all of them are unavoidable. Some of them were selected for distribution via Netflix Prime, Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus, iTunes or Google Play.

Why don't they get more? Why are they not released in theaters? They're too expensive.

They would be released in theaters if they were less expensive to produce.

I can help. I will help you find the best possible way to release your film in theaters.

I'll show you how to maximize your return on investment (ROI) and increase your chances of seeing your movie in theaters.

Let's face it, we all know...

It can be very difficult to get your film in theaters. The process can be complex and lengthy.

It may also cost you plenty of money before you even get started.

Even worse, your window of opportunity to distribute your film is very limited.

There is not enough time to wait between the completion of a film and its theatrical release.

What happens to my film if it doesn't do well in the box office?

A film that does poorly at the box-office could lead to many problems.

You might want to change the marketing of your film.

Second, you may decide to rewrite the script.

Third, you might consider adding characters.

Fourth, it is possible to decide to eliminate certain characters.

Fifth, you might want to make some cuts.

Sixth, you might decide that the film wasn't worth making.

What is the annual salary of Hollywood?

Producing a movie can cost around $100 million. The average movie costs around $100 million to make. If you made ten movies per month for a ten year, you'd have enough cash to buy a small country.

You would have your own island, including an airport, a power station, a bank and a post office.

If this sounds like it's not fun, then you might be insane.

Is Hollywood bigger than Bollywood?

Film producers face the greatest challenge: how to get their movie noticed by the audience.

Problem is, there are many films competing for viewers' time and money. And if you don't stand out from the crowd, you won't have much chance of getting watched.

But what makes a movie great? What makes an actor or director famous? Or a director? It's more than talent, it's also luck. The best actors may be the best, but they will not succeed if they are writing bad scripts.

And when it comes to films, there are two main types: big-budget blockbusters and small independent productions. Blockbuster films can cost hundreds and millions of dollars to make and distribute. These blockbuster movies are usually produced by big studios who want their movies to reach as broad an audience as possible. However, these films with big budgets appeal mostly to older viewers.

Independent films can be smaller productions funded by individuals or groups. These films usually target specific markets and appeal to specific tastes. These films are usually easier to market and produce. They aren't always more affordable to watch, however. It is actually very difficult to find most indie movies.

Is it possible to have both types of films? Do we need big blockbuster movies and small independent ones? Hollywood is larger than Bollywood, in my opinion. Hollywood produces twice as many movies per annum than India.
