AT&T Inc. (NYSE : T) owns Warner Bros.

Can I create my own distribution organization?

No. It is illegal to legally run a distribution business without being a distributor.

Even though you might not be distribution films for other people, there are still rules.

You can't, for example, charge different prices to different theaters. You cannot also charge different fees to customers.

Other companies cannot also sell your services.

What is the average number of movies Hollywood makes in a year?

Each year, Hollywood studios produce approximately 3,000 films. Three thousand!

Hollywood spends billions to advertise for these movies. They spend millions on their production. They also spend millions marketing them. But how many do you think actually end up getting released into theaters?

The answer is most likely between 200 and 300. The question is, what happens to all the other 2,700+ films? Well, most are either made as direct-to-video releases, or they just sit there gathering dust in storage vaults.

Some of them may not be seen. Some of them were selected for distribution via Netflix Prime, Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus, iTunes or Google Play.

Hence, why aren't there more of them? Why aren't they released in theaters? Because they are too expensive to make.

If they were more affordable to produce they would be released into theaters.

That's where my expertise comes in. I can help guide you in the best way possible to put your movie in theaters.

You'll learn how to maximize your return and increase the chances of your movie being shown in theaters.

Let's face the facts...

Getting your film into theaters can be quite difficult. The process is complex, lengthy and involves many legalities.

It may also cost you plenty of money before you even get started.

It is even more difficult to distribute your film within a limited timeframe.

There simply isn't enough time between when a film is finished, and its theatrical run begins.

What is the difference of a producer and distributor?

Produced by a producer, the movie is produced. The movie is distributed via a distributor. Distributors and theaters are two options for producers to sell their movies. Distributors can buy movies from producers. Distributors then sell the movies to theaters, cable networks, and streaming services.

Distributors have to negotiate with theater owners over where their movies should play. This means that certain movies might be more expensive at some theaters than others. If you want your movie to be seen by as many people as possible, you should choose a distributor with many theaters.

Why did Hollywood become famous?

It was easy. They took risks and did something different to make it popular. They were able to make films that would be remembered for many years.

They were also willing to try out new ideas.
